You know you can't resist me.
Nobody can.
[some helpful notes: This version of Ivy is based heavily on Cast Shadows, No Man's Land, Hush, Gotham City Sirens, and a little Black Orchid, with special homage to Joker's Asylum: Poison Ivy #1, Secret Origins, and Harley & Ivy. As such, I have helpfully enumerated her powers here.
- Ivy primarily gains nutrients through photosynthetic processes, though how they work exactly is magical and fuzzy and always subject to change. basically: sunlight and water good! lack of CO2 and dry/dark spaces bad! Ivy can actually (as seen in No Man's Land) be de-powered and rendered very weak by depriving her of light and water.
- She is immune to all toxins and diseases.
- She has at least some manner of empathy with plant life and can commune/communicate with them, as well as psionically control them (i.e., make vines rise up from the ground and choke somebody, "hear their sweet voices" as she puts it in an issue of Joker's Asylum); she also has a connection to "the Green," a force which unites all botanical life on Earth/etc. She has been seen to appear in a vase of roses (like Floo Power in HP) to communicate with another character.
- Ivy secretes toxins through her lips that can, depending on mood and occasion, paralyze, mind-control, or even kill a kissee.
- I am going to downplay her pheromone thing. I do believe Ivy has a little help from her altered body chemistry in terms of being attractive to others, but I leave it up to other players to decide how affected their characters will be. After all, Batman's usually less than impressed ...]
